Who We Are.

FUTR Agency (FUTR Technology Group (Pty) Ltd) is the responsible party for personal information collected through futr.co.za. We are based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.

What We Collect.

When you contact us. Your name, email address, business name, what you need help with and optionally your budget range. You give us this directly through the enquiry form.

When you run a free website audit or WordPress health check. Your name, company, work email, phone number and the website address you ask us to check. For the health check we also store the results of that check.

Automatically. Standard website analytics through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and where you arrived from, including advertising campaign parameters. This is used to understand how the site performs, not to identify you personally.

Advertising measurement. We use Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising tools to measure which adverts lead to enquiries. When you complete a form, we send Meta a record of that conversion from our server as well as from your browser. Your email address and phone number are irreversibly encrypted (hashed) before they are sent, so Meta receives a scrambled value rather than your actual details. We do this to measure advertising accurately, not to build a profile of you.

We do not collect website passwords or hosting credentials through any form on this site. If we need access to a client website, we ask you to create a dedicated administrator account rather than share an existing password.

Why We Use It.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who We Share It With.

Only the service providers we need to operate: our website host, our email provider, Google for analytics and advertising measurement, and Meta for advertising measurement. Each processes information on our instructions.

How Long We Keep It.

Enquiry and health-check records are kept while there is a live business reason to keep them, and for as long as South African law requires us to retain business records afterwards. If you ask us to delete your information and we are not legally required to keep it, we will.

Your Rights.

Under POPIA you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email info@futr.co.za and we will respond.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Cookies And Tracking.

This site uses Google Tag Manager, which loads Google Analytics, Google Ads measurement and the Meta pixel. These set cookies to measure visits and advertising performance. You can block cookies in your browser settings and the site will continue to work — though note that conversions we send from our own server are not affected by browser cookie blocking. If you would rather we did not include you in advertising measurement at all, email us and we will exclude you.

Security.

The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are validated and processed server-side. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect what we hold.
