Ready To Buy.

Traffic is not the goal. Enquiries are. We build search visibility around the terms that carry buying intent in your category — and increasingly, around being the answer an AI gives when someone asks for a supplier.

Search is two games now.

The classic one still matters: technical foundations, local signals, content that answers real questions, and links from sites that have a reason to link to you.

The newer one is answer engines. When someone asks ChatGPT or Perplexity for a supplier, those crawlers read your site — and most of them do not execute JavaScript at all. A site that renders its content in the browser is simply not there. We have seen sites with beautiful front ends that are, to an AI crawler, a blank page.

Getting this right is cheap if you build for it and expensive to retrofit. It is part of how we build, not an upsell.

01

Technical foundations

Crawlability, server-rendered content, structured data, canonicals, sitemaps, page speed. The unglamorous layer everything else depends on.

02

Local & map pack

Google Business Profile, NAP consistency, local schema, review strategy. Fastest route to enquiries for a local business.

03

Content that answers

Pages built around the questions your buyers actually type, not keyword lists. One clear job per page.

04

AI & answer engines

Crawler access, server-rendered content, FAQ and entity markup so you are quotable by AI, not invisible to it.

Local search is where the leads are.

For a business serving Johannesburg, the map pack sits above every organic result. Winning it is a different discipline to ranking a page — it runs on a verified Google Business Profile, consistent name, address and phone details across the web, genuine reviews and correct local structured data.

It is also the fastest-moving part of SEO. Where content takes months to compound, local placement can shift in weeks. For most local businesses it is where we start, because it is where the return arrives first.

Honest answers about SEO.

How long does SEO take to work in South Africa?

Local map pack placement can move within weeks once a Google Business Profile is verified and optimised. Service and location pages typically take two to three months to settle. Content-led organic growth compounds slowly then sharply, with most of the return arriving between six and twelve months. Anyone promising page one in a fortnight is either misleading you or planning to use tactics that will get you penalised.

Do you guarantee first page rankings?

No. Nobody legitimately can — Google does not sell that and does not accept instructions. What we commit to is a clear method, work you can inspect, and reporting against enquiries rather than vanity positions. Treat a ranking guarantee as a warning sign.

What is the difference between local SEO and normal SEO?

Local SEO targets the map pack and location-based searches, and runs largely on your Google Business Profile, citation consistency and reviews. Standard organic SEO targets the blue links below and runs on content, technical quality and links. Most local businesses need both, but local delivers enquiries sooner.

Can you fix SEO on a site someone else built?

Usually. We start with an audit of what is technically there, what is indexable and what is being wasted. Sometimes the fix is a handful of technical corrections; sometimes the platform itself is the constraint. We will tell you which, including when the honest answer is that a rebuild would be cheaper than the workarounds.

What is AI search optimisation and does it matter yet?

It is making your site readable and quotable by the crawlers behind AI answers. It matters now because the cost of getting it right during a build is nearly zero, while retrofitting it later is not. The practical requirements are unglamorous: allow the crawlers in your robots file, render content as real HTML, and mark up your entities and FAQs properly.

Do you do link building?

Only the kind that survives. Earned and relationship-based links from sites with a genuine reason to reference you. We do not buy links or use private networks — they work briefly and then cost you the domain. If someone offers you a thousand backlinks for a flat fee, they are selling you a future penalty.
