The brief.
Six decades of building services engineering is a genuine asset and an awkward story to tell. The work is mechanical, electrical, fire, plumbing and sustainability systems — largely invisible once a building is finished, and impossible to photograph in a way that conveys the expertise involved.
What we did.
The site opens on a scroll-driven wireframe sequence: engineering drawn line by line before a single photograph appears, which is exactly the order the practice works in. It then resolves into the firm itself — project case studies carrying real engineering figures, and an archive of 22 registered patents going back to the founder's 1964 air conditioning terminal unit. Built in Next.js to stay fast across a large site serving South Africa, Kenya and the UK.
