What Shape Is Your
Website Actually In?
We'll look at your WordPress site from the outside and tell you what we can see — and, just as importantly, what nobody can see from out there without getting into the admin.
What This Check Can't Tell You.
Plenty of what matters is simply invisible from outside a website, and we'd rather say so than invent a number. Backup configuration, whether your contact form emails actually arrive, whether plugins are current and whether anything has already been compromised all need admin access.
Anything we can't genuinely determine is marked Manual review required rather than guessed, and it's excluded from the score instead of quietly counted as a pass. That's also the first thing we go through properly when care starts.
